We would like to introduce our newest member of Klick to you all – Ellie!
So that everyone can get to know her a bit better, we asked her a few questions:
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: I’d say I’m passionate about good food and drink – I always have a proper meal cooked from scratch every evening and love trying new things. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places, whether it be in the UK or abroad. Anyone who knows me also knows I’m pretty passionate about anything beauty related – my skincare routine is at LEAST 6 steps long, I always have about 8 different lip products in my bag and I know most products on the beauty market. Don’t judge 😉
Q: If you could choose to do anything for the day, what would you do?
A: If I could truly choose ANYTHING, then I would stay up for the full 24 hours, spending one hour each in the most beautiful places in the world. I’d see all of the Natural Wonders of the World, see the Big Five on an African Safari, go on a boat trip and watch dolphins in the wild, go on the world’s best rollercoaster, have a pit stop relaxing on a beach in the Maldives… the list could go on! Then I’d complete the day by seeing the Northern Lights.
Q: What is your most unusual talent?
A: I have a good memory for random things. For instance I remember everything people tell me about themselves, and when I was little I could open a book and know the exact page a particular word was on even if I’d read it weeks ago.
Q: Would you rather go 30 days without your phone or a lifetime without fajitas?
A: I’d rather go 30 days without my phone because fajitas are the best… and it’d be a good digital detox!
Q: If you were stranded on a desert island & could choose one person to keep you company, who would it be and why?
A: Dave Grohl, the lead singer/guitarist of Foo Fighters because he’s the coolest man alive. I feel like he’d have some interesting stories to tell.
Q: What is something weird you’ve tried that you would recommend someone tries at least once?
A: This is a hard question! One of the strangest experiences I’ve had is probably being on a German Exchange and having dinner with a family each night who only spoke to me in German when I couldn’t speak it fluently back! But I learnt a lot from it, so I’d recommend people step outside their comfort zone and take advantage of unusual opportunities because they’re so rewarding.
Q: What is your all-time favourite book and film?
A: As an English graduate this is tough, but I’d say my favourite books (- don’t make me choose between!) are The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath because I studied them at A Level and enjoyed them so much they inspired me to do a Lit degree. My favourite films are Pulp Fiction and The Dark Knight – again, don’t make me choose! I also loved the new Joker film…
Q: Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
A: My happy place is on a beach somewhere hot! But my ultimate favourite place in the world is always with my family and my springer spaniel, Bella.
Q: If you could be any animal what would you be?
A: I’d be a bird so I could fly anywhere and have freedom. Or a quokka, which is in the kangaroo family and is allegedly one of the happiest animals in the world – Google them to see the cuteness!
Q: What is your favourite thing about Klick so far?
A: Overall my favourite thing is the team and I can already tell that Klick is like a family! I’ve had an incredible start here; Klick won 2 awards at the Black Country Chamber Awards within my first week, which of course makes me excited to work for such a fantastic company. It was a really fun (and emotional, wine-filled!) evening!
We’re so happy to have Ellie join us and can’t wait to make more Klick memories with her!
