Klick’s Half Marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust

Two weeks ago, Klick Business Solutions received some devastating news. Our friend and colleague Beth Childs was diagnosed with Leukaemia and is currently receiving treatment in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Teenage Cancer Trust Unit.

Naturally, the whole Klick team have rallied round Beth to show her that she has our full and unwavering support throughout the battle ahead.

In response to the news, we have decided to raise as much money as possible for the excellent charities who have provided an amazing standard of care to Beth so far. The following charities provide invaluable support to young people fighting cancer, making their battle much more bearable during an awful period in their lives:

  • The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, QE Hospital Birmingham
  • The Georgina Cancer Unit, Russells Hall Hospital
  • The Little Princess Trust – Have provided Beth and thousands of young people with free real hair wigs
  • Clic Sergeant – Providing social/pastoral support and guidance.

A number of fundraising initiatives have been put in place by those close to Beth and Klick have also decided to show our support. Members of the Klick team will be running the Black Country to Birmingham Half Marathon on Saturday July 1st, raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust in the process.

We have already had a number of incredibly generous donations that will go a long way to helping young people fighting cancer, but are determined to keep it going and raise as much as we possibly can.
