The British Council has a Marketing Academy, which is run by the Global Marketing Capability Manager. It is through the Marketing Academy that employees gain professional marketing qualifications and attend courses to progress with their professional development.
The British Council Marketing Academy is looking for a provider of professional marketing qualifications accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and a provider of a Marketing Masterclass. These are being split into five lots.
Lot 1: Introductory Certificate in Marketing.
A professional marketing qualification to be delivered by distance learning.
Lot 2: Professional Certificate in Marketing.
A professional marketing qualification to be delivered by distance learning.
Lot 3: Professional Diploma in Marketing.
A professional marketing qualification to be delivered by distance learning. Currently the Professional Diploma has been adapted to meet the needs of the British Council. The Managing Marketing module has been replaced by Campaign Planning & Relationship Management. This adaptation is something we would like to continue with in the new contract.
Lot 4: Diploma in Digital Marketing.
A professional marketing qualification to be delivered by distance learning.
Lot 5: Marketing Masterclass.
The Marketing Masterclass is an invitation only, four day, face to face event for key people within the Organisation that is run once a year. The programme offers four days of intensive study and lively debate facilitated by highly experienced tutors and speakers.
Most delegates have influential, none marketing roles in the British Council. The tenderer will be required to work with the Global Marketing Capability Manager to design the event and provide trainers/speakers. The aims of the Masterclass are to highlight the importance and benefits of marketing to the business and to up skill the delegates.
