Introduction.
The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement (the NHS Institute) invites tender submissions for the provision of the LF 360 Degree Feedback Assessment Tool on behalf of the University Hospital South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM).
The contracting body will be UHSM.
Scope of Work.
UHSM wishes to appoint a provider to deliver the following service:
— to host, develop and project manage an IT platform and functionality to support the administration of the NHS Leadership Framework 360 feedback tool and evaluation capability,
— to develop additional support materials to support the NHS Leadership Framework, for example an additional LF 360 shorter version questionnaire,
— to develop a suite of training materials and deliver training for Leadership Framework 360 feedback facilitators and trainers,
— To develop a development portal to support the development and quality assurance of LF360 Facilitators.
The NHS Institute Board Development Team currently manages the Leadership Framework (LF). This is a behavioural framework which sets the standard for outstanding leadership within the NHS.
Alongside this, there is an associated 360° diagnostic feedback tool which enables participants to rate themselves, and invite a range of colleagues to rate them, against the behaviours in the LF through a series of questions. Rating categories currently include line manager, peers, direct reports and others. The tool is run such that both individual and team reports can be produced.
Programme Outcomes.
The programme outcomes are for the successful contractor to:
— host, develop and project manage an IT platform and functionality to support the administration of the NHS Leadership Framework 360 feedback tool and evaluation capability,
— develop and incorporate an additional LF 360 shorter version questionnaire,
— develop a development portal to support the development and quality assurance of LF360 Facilitators,
— provide ongoing contract and project management support for the duration of the contact.
