William Beamont high school, Dallam CP primary school and St Margaret’s CE primary school based in the north of Warrington are seeking expressions of interest to provide their school catering, from September 2012. Initially the contract will be for these three core schools, however Beamont Community Primary School, Bewsey lodge primary school, St. Andrew’s C E Primary Warrington, St. Ann’s C E Primary and Meadowside community primary and nursery school, may join the contract at a later date. Due to timescales of the devolvement of catering budgets to the primary schools from Warrington Borough Council the 2 initial primary schools may not take up the contract in September 2012 or may not take up the contract at all.
The schools are seeking expressions of interest from providers wishing to operate the service as a concession, however other proposals may be considered alongside the concession. The schools are looking for a single provider to provide the service in the group of schools. Initially the contract will be for a period of 5 years with 3 further options to extend the contract by periods of 1 year.
